College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Pleasanton

I had to clean out my father's house after his death. The two young people who came to help me were tireless and careful. They made an awful job that would have taken me days into a relatively easy thing done in one day. I am so grateful for their help. Fair prices, great communication from the company all the way through, too.

Pathetic . Given me a window of 9 am-10am and these people arrived at 11:30 am this disturbed my whole day of move. The first crew member who worked on my beds was absolutely unprofessional and rude, they were not able to take my kids bed out. The guy shamelessly said “he did not bring right tools”. So was it my mistake? Why did I have to pay EXTRA to their second crew which came at 5 pm at my place to take that bed out. I had to drive 20 miles back to have that bed removed. Second crew were able to simply pull the bed apart and took it out whole. Second their first crew dumped items at my new place and did not even install the one bed correctly. The guy in this move was on phone all the time while disassembling furniture. I had given time to other folks at my new place, I had to drive back and forth from my new place for the pathetic skills of their first crew member and after suffering such an inconvenience and their cheap quality of service I had to pay them $90per hour per person. Avoid this place. One star is for second crew who did great and waiting for me while I arrive at my home on Christmas Eve. I think most reviews are probably paid.

Update 1: what’s the use of your internal review to me now? Will you provide an update PUBLICLY what improvements have you done? What will you do to redress my issue?

Unimaginably bad experience. They were here til PAST 1AM! Our move started at 11AM! We were moving a 2 bedroom, 840 sq ft house. A 14+ hour long move is completely unacceptable and beyond what I could have even imagined as the worst case scenario. It makes a horrible impression on our new neighbors. The movers themselves were very polite, I don't blame them, I blame their management for understaffing the move. Will never use this company again!

EDIT: I spoke to them on the phone per their reply and there was zero resolution. My original review still stands in full.

Had the College Hunks move a vanity upstairs. They did a great job and reasonable price!!!
