College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Waco

College hunks hauling junk.. in some aspects the name is fitting since these college “hunks” certainly treated my items like junk. I, single woman, moved from Waco TX to El Paso TX, from a 2 bed room apt to a storage unit. Of course due to the distance I was looking for the cheapest price possible which lead me to CHUJ - worse decision I ever made. These guys are LAZY, it’s obvious they do not take pride in what they do. My items were poorly package/wrapped, because they were rushing. I understand due to the 10 hour drive they wanted to get everything over and done with but as a moving company, one would think that semi long distance moves happen often but I guess I expected too much. I was charged an overnight hold fee of $300, which I assumed paid for their hotel and food. The morning of my move I was given a time to meet them but due to traffic I was late arriving. Would you believe that HALF of my stuff was moved into the storage unit BEFORE I even got there!? I had no idea if anything was damaged nor was I able to account for everything that was there. Eventually they finished with the move and still ended charging me extra for going over the time limit.. if I was going to be charged anyways they could’ve waited the extra 10 MINUTES it took for me to arrive. They asked me to check the truck to make sure everything was out, I didn’t see anything in there but somehow pieces from my bed were left somewhere in the truck. The guy, Brian I believe asked me for my address to personally mail me the items.. to me it seemed like he wanted to know where I lived because he previously mentioned he had family in El Paso. MAJOR RED FLAG. Especially since he was aware that I was by myself. I had the items sent to a family member in a different city.. Now, a year later, I’ve finally got my stuff out of storage only find out that other items are missing(box full of pots and pans). Avoid college “hunks” at all cost, the cheaper price is NOT worth it at all. Btw they are NOT hunks.

Great communication! I had to reschedule for an earlier date and was accommodated promptly. Extremely nice and professional! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!!

Came early after verifying it was ok. Done hauling away our junk before appointment time even started. Would definitely use them again if we were not moving out of state.

College Hunks is fantastic! Andrew and Raul moved all of our stuff from our (very stuffed) one bedroom apartment. They were so nice and got it done quickly and efficiently!
