DO NOT ALLOW THE MILITARY TO RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO YOU. If I could give 0 stars I would. My household goods were stored here for 3 months and the majority of my items did not look the same as they did when they were first packed. It literally looked like someone went through my stuff, boxes were torn and taped all over, my pots and pans were no longer wrapped like they were when they left my previous home and the majority of them were bent, dented, and scratched to the point where I could not use them. It literally looked like the box they came in broke so they threw everything back in the same box and taped the bottom because my heavier pots were on the top crushing my smaller and thinner pots and pans. My dresser still had a few of my clothes in them while all of the other drawers were empty and one of the handles were missing, the entire thing was bent to where I could no longer put clothes in it without it falling over or smoothly open the drawers, and the insides of my drawers literally had shoe prints in them, as if someone knocked it over, stepped on it, and tried to throw it back together. The worse of this is that I’m missing an entire custom made duffle bag that had my name stitched on it that was filled with my husband’s expensive work jackets. But the records show that this company did indeed receive it, so I’m not understanding how it didn’t make it to my home and how it’s still missing to this day. The workers stated that they don’t unpack boxes because of liability reasons which I feel is a lie and they complained about how heavy some of my furniture was. Like I’m pretty sure this isn’t the first home you’ve unpacked before…. You would think they’d be more prepared for heavier items or have better methods of transporting them instead of trying to hand carry everything. One of the guys literally threw my 65 in flat screen over his should and dropped it down in my living room like ????? I understand it’s not your stuff but you could be more gentle. My husband’s irreplaceable hard drive that had pictures and videos of his deceased father was destroyed, and the transportation claims lady that came to see how things were going told me to just file a claim because everything’s replaceable… Overall this has been the most traumatizing and frustrating move I’ve ever had in my military career. I literally plan to do every move myself as long as I’m conus because of this.

Theses guys did a great job, I've moved a few times so I know the ropes and what to expect. They were just as good as any other mover I've used. Showed up early got my stuff packed and loaded and on the road.

Where do I even begin, smh. This moving company is complete trash!! The military recommended this garbage of a moving company, and I should have read some reviews before even accepting to use them.
1. They came to look around at the items earlier than the time they told us, and expected us to drop what we were doing to accommodate them. It didn’t help that the man who was a supervisor was cranky, complaining about how tired he was.
2. The last movers we used, had someone come and pack the stuff before actually loading them onto the truck, which was great because they wore gloves, and we were able to let them what they can pack, versus what we will take. Additionally, these movers came to load the truck the day before we left, which worked out perfect for us. Cord on the other hand wanted to rush and have 4 people pack and move all at once, so it was hard to actually tell them what to take and what to leave. They ended up packing so many things we didn’t want them to take, and when we asked about the items, they suddenly have no clue where it is. They wore no gloves, so they were touching my newborn’s items with unclean hands. We gave them hand sanitizer, but because they kept coming in and out, it defeated the purpose. This is why it is much SMARTER to have someone come and pack
3. They told us they were coming at a certain time to pack and move, and yet again, they came much earlier and expected us to be up and ready to receive them. According to their policy, they only call you on the day of to let you know what time they will be arriving, which is mental because who doesn’t want to mentally prepare for a bunch of strangers in their home, smh.
4. They came over a week before we were scheduled to arrive at the new base, so we were left in an empty house, with most of our things packed that we actually needed. It didn’t help that they were talking about politics and other personal things, and I’m like “shut up and hurry up and go” LOL.
5. Lastly, the worst possible thing any worker can do, is disregard their customer’s request, especially one as important as not using their personal bathroom. One of these incompetent and vile mistake of a human being, decided to disregard our request to not use our personal bathroom. Not only did this vile human defy us, they went as far as to take a number 2, and use our towel to wipe their disgusting hands. I literally had to throw out our toothbrushes, floss, q-tips, etc. because of this scum, and wash our bathroom from top to bottom, as well as our towels and washcloths, and change the bathroom mats and shower curtain. This is another level of disrespect because they were told to use the bathroom downstairs, and if I had time, I would go to their damn office in Dixon and raise hell.

Pros:
-Absolutely NONE

Cons:
-Doesn’t give time of arrival, just shows up at your door at the crack of dawn
-Hires unprofessional and incompetent people
-The supervisor is an ignorant loser
-It took 6 workers almost all day to pack and move a 3 bedroom house with very minimal furniture
-And too much more to list, smh

Overall, Cord is a sorry excuse of a business that is highly unprofessional, last minute, love to rush, hire any type of disgusting and incompetent person, that I would NEVER recommend, nor use if they were the only moving company left on earth. You all deserve ZERO stars for your trash service and disgusting workers!!
