County Movers

I had an awful experience with this moving company. Two movers were scheduled to arrive at 8 AM, but at the last minute, I was told one person was not feeling well and they had to wait for another guy. Finally, two movers showed up at 9 AM.

We live in a one-bedroom apartment with a bed, TV, four-seat dining table, and home office equipment. When the movers arrived, one of them looked around, panting, and started yelling that there was too much stuff. He was hot-headed and then increased the original price by $80.

The movers were extremely careless with our belongings. One of our office desks was fragile, and we wanted him to handle it carefully. However, he had a bad attitude and had no manners while speaking. He was unwilling to compromise or listen to anything and kept doing whatever he wanted.

Additionally, we are missing a shoe and the base of our TV stand, and several items were broken. When we inquired about the TV base, he wouldn't take any responsibility or recognize his actions.
They also broke a bulb and a lamp while taking out the couch and nearly broke the couch itself. Despite my attempts to explain and help, the main mover was completely uncooperative. He did not listen, was rude, and carelessly threw our belongings around instead of handling them with care.

When they unloaded our stuff, they refused to take the furniture to the correct rooms. Instead, they dumped everything in a big pile in the living room and left. Despite our efforts to provide water, Gatorade, and ice cream, the main mover's unwillingness to communicate was the most disappointing part of the experience.

I would not recommend anyone to even consider this company. Save your money and your belongings and go elsewhere.

Very rude, and higher on the price.

They were good movers, but behavior is very unprofessional. There's many other movers out there, would not recommend them. Especially Achfak? have definitely irked me.

Our business-Sylvan Learning- has used them twice for moving and have had excellent service and results. Highly recommended for both small and big jobs.

Pat is great to work with, very nice to talk to and very accommodating. John and the other two gentlemen who came out to move my father were very pleasant, careful and just so efficient. I am so happy I called them to do this move for us. They honestly made a very hard time a little easier and that I greatly appreciate!! I highly recommend Pat and County Movers!!

I used County Movers on 8-28-23. The booking process was seamless and their prices are more than fair. They showed up on time. Every single member of the six-man crew was friendly, polite, respectful, and funny. They worked steadily, diligently, and very quickly for the entire six-hour job. They were very careful with our family member’s things while completing the move efficiently. We had several extremely heavy items to move which they handled well. Everything arrived at the new house with zero damages as they handled and wrapped our things very carefully. They were also very clever and organized in how they loaded the trucks to maximize space and make unloading go quickly. At the new house, they asked if we needed them to shift anything around to make settling in easier. They did an absolutely superb, top-notch job, and were a delight to work with. You won’t find a better group of people to move your household. Thank you Pat and the “J Team” of County Movers!
