I did the process completely on line and hate that you have to have liability coverage on your unit. I don’t need it don’t care to have it but am forced to pay it which is on top on the normal pay for the unit per month, so the clarity of pricing is not there. I went and there was a lock already on my unit and I was confused as to why as they told me my unit was ready to go. I came back the next day and was told I should have gotten an email with the code for that lock, again they never told me that any lock would be on my unit when I signed. I checked my email and received those instructions at 8 am, the staff told me they send it out immediately following payment for the unit and there systems showed it being sent out the night before, so slow processing times on important emails. Had I actually received it I wouldn’t have to wonder if they were selling units others already had. The staff was friendly but condescending telling me I should’ve known by the email (I didn’t get until a few hours ago) and that liability coverage cannot be cancelled (despite the screen shot I showed him from when I filled out the lease). All in all poor customer service from this storage facility

Gate has been open for a week + now,over the summer multiple units were broken into and no one was notified, nor did they even notice for days. All of this and the price just went up by more than 30%. We left and won’t look back.

My experience was good at first but after having my storage for two to three months they upped the price and I was told they do that every three months, which was never said when I opened the storage. I changed my payment date and I set my payments for auto pay. I ended up having to pay through the automatic voice messaging system on the phone and they still try to charge me for that last months and for the current month with late fees because they made a mistake about my payment date change and that it was set for auto pay. I wouldn't fall for there deals because it's all bogus. Save yourself from a headache.
