CubeSmart Self Storage

AVOID AT ALL COST! Cubesmart in Wilton FLOODS and is in a FLOOD PLAIN but no one tells you this when you rent there! Dishonest business, no customer service any more and after huge flood a month ago, the entire first floor was ruined and there have been dumpsters there with people throwing away ALL their possessions! I have rented on the 2nd floor and wanted a larger unit AND THEY TRIED TO SELL ME ONE ON THE FIRST FLOOR WITH NO MENTION OF THE FLOODING! I only discovered it myself when I went up there to start to move! You are charged insurance which does not cover flooding and the place now smells of mold and mildew! The rent is increased every 6 months as well which is predatory at best.This facility should be shut down for unscrupulous business practices at the very least.DO NOT USE CUBESMART!

Wonderful location and people ?

I am not a fan of writing negative reviews. Unfortunately my experience warrants caution for those who are thinking about using this storage facility. Our sales person told us that rates would be fixed for 2 years. We have been there for a year and the rates have gone up from $380 to $722 per month. There are not enough carts and some of the carts have wheels that need to be replaced. First floor has had a flood this year and still they continue to milk their customers. Our complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
