CubeSmart Self Storage

I started renting this unit 01/27/2024. It was great through Chelsea and no problems for the first few months. Then around July of 2024 I stopped in to retrieve some items and Lord and behold I saw mice/rat droppings. I freaked out and called the office and spoke with Holly. I let her know my findings as well as letting her know their landscaper needs to do better. They are blowing the debris under the units as it is always trashy and full of leaves. She came over and threw some bait bags in it and left. I let her know I wasn't happy with that but we will see what comes of it. I came to check on my unit as I was still dealing with the after math of having a 9mm kidney stone blockage and Lord and behold on Jan 6, 2025 the mice and poor landscaping as well, ALL MY ITEMS are damaged as I have lots of pictures, they tore up the inside of the storage unit I was renting. Contacted the insurance company that insurance was provided through and of course they don't cover that. Bill noted I had water damage also and in an email said I could file that and he will send me the document for that as of today 01/09/2025. I'll wait for it. I just received an email from Holly telling me they fired her because she reported the ongoing issues to OSHA and a case was opened on them. They just got rid of her because she knew too much.I will NEVER rent from Cube Smart again nor will I recommend them to anyone. I had to get another storage which I will admit is way better, bigger and costs less for the items I can salvage!. PLEASE TAKE THIS REVIEW SERIOUSLY and listen to me...RUN!!. Don't do it, my items were nice and now they are wet with water, urine rat/mice chews/smell and landscaping debris. Go elsewhere I'm warning you. If you are paying GREAT AMERICAN INSURANCE GROUP?!. Get rid of them ASAP they will list EVERYTHING they can think of that will destroy your property in a storage and use that as a reason to decline your claim. Bill sent an email to me in reference to water damage and the fact that he will send a separate email for that. When I questioned him about it he NEVER RESPOND but his supervisor Robert did along with telling me they had to correct that in order not to pay me!. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME BEFORE IT HAPPENS TO YOU, CUBE SMART AND AMERICAN UNSURANCE GROUP ARE WORKING TOGETHER AND THEY ARE FULL OF SHIT!. DON'T END UP LIKE ME AND HAVE YOUR PRECIOUS ITEMS DAMAGED!!. WARNING COMES BEFORE DESTRUCTION!!.

Awesome service and very informative

Holly was extremely helpful and patient. We had a large truck and she kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and could navigate the turns. Thank you Holly for turning a difficult move into a pleasant experience!
