Lady in the office was very nice and helpful. My Father suffers from dementia and forgot to lock their unit And they secured the unit for ushowever I’m not on the paperwork, but after verification via phone call to my mother, I was able to buy a new lock And regain access to their unit . I was so happy with the customer service I inquired and secured a larger unit for myself and was given a fantastic promotional price. Definitely deserves 10 stars instead of five and I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for no professionalism, but also a friendly and pleasant experience From the attendant, I believe her name was Sandy. This is a nice facility; however, the monthly rate continued to increase annually to a point it was not justifiable. After five years of always paying on time and keeping our unit clean, complying with their rules, etc., the management was apparently more concerned about money than keeping good renters. Also, the Edgewater location flooded during Hurricane Ian and we lost several expensive items of furniture mainly because the facility's management neglected to contact us in a timely manner. Although we did have insurance through the CubeSmart insurance company, it did not cover any of our loss. We accepted this and continued to rent our unit without complaint. We left this facility with a disappointing experience. Good news is we did find another storage location in the area that is newer, nicer and $150 cheaper per month for the same size climate controlled unit...and they ensured us our rate would never increase more than $10 per month annually if at all. At Cube Smart, our rate was scheduled to increased by over $50 a month when we decided it was no longer reasonable to continue renting a storage unit at this location in Edgewater. I wish I could be more positive, but after talking to the manager about the excessive rent increase and his attitude towards the monthly rental increase...I don't have anything positive to say. Do your homework before renting here.
