Daniel and Mark are very accomodating and very helpful. Been renting a unit here for almost 3 years and they maintain the grounds very well.
I don’t like how online you are required to pay for a lock and protection plan, but if paying in person, these two fees are not required.

Just rented a unit for the first time and used CubeSmart. It was a supremely good experience in all aspects. You can sign up completely contact-free from the web site. Being a first-timer, I decided to call anyway. The person on the phone mostly just reinterated what was on the web site, but it was comforting to hear a person saying. She took my information and said she would send me a link to the contract in an email. This link was really just linking to the web site where I would have ended up had I continued, but that too was very comforting.

I was able to sign up an have my unit within about 20 minutes, complete with access codes and all I needed. Later, the person at the local store where I rented called. This was mostly just a courtesy introducing himself and just letting me know he was available for questions.

A few hours later, loaded up with boxes, I went down to check it out. I stopped into the office to meet the person behind the phone call, but there was no reason I needed to as I could have just used the access code I was assigned to the gate to get in. Again, was nice to just confirm everything with a human, and he did give me tips on where to park, which elevator to take and how to get to the unit.

The unit was as expected with a green plasting seal you break and inside a goodie / welcome bag with information and a lock (which you have to pay for). Everything was as expected and very convenient. They have plenty of carts to help move your things to and from your car.

Overall, the signup and initial onboarding experience was perfect.
