This has the worst customer service service NOONE is ever there. Then you call everyone will answer but them. Go elsewhere
I've had the most horrible experience every since CubeSmart took over my account. At this point. I am beginning to think that it is a personal thing with the lady in the office. When they took over my account, I wasn't aware of the change so when I tried to make a payment as I always do online to Public Storage. I kept getting an error message. Well. I always make a payment on the last day of grace before the payment is late. Well. I had to drive out of my way to go to the location the next day. When I get there, I see the signs are changed etc......and it's now CubeSmart. The lady behind the counter tells me I would need to pay almost another $50 for late fees. All she kept saying was we sent you an email and it looks like you read it. If I read it then I would not have been on the phone the night before trying to pay Public Storage as I normally do. I sent several messages and finally the GM calls me and says it would be waived. I already pay $258 on a fixed income as a Senior. The next month my bill includes an extra $27.00 additional insurance fee. I didn't feel like the hassle so I paid it. The same woman working in the office said we sent an email so yes if you want to change it you have to pay it and next month you can change. She didn't bother to tell me that if I change it then my insurance amount would change for my belongings. My most recent incident with this same woman took place onFri, Feb, 28th. I called and stated that I needed to get a new lock because my keys were misplaced in my car. She stated the charge for the lock would be $21. I asked how late was she there and she stated 6pm. I informed her I was waiting on my son because I cant lift and hes helping me after work. My son got off packed my things and we headed there. I called to let the office know we were on the service road in traffic and would make it there in a few minutes. My son and I get there at 5:45 pm and shes on the cart and says I'll be right back. Well. I get out and purchase the lock from the other lady inside and she says I dont think she can do it today because she's the GM, which I never saw GM on her badge. The young lady calls her and she says it's too late so come back the next day. I stated my son has to work and he made changes just to get off today to help me. I was told, well it can't be done. We leave and come back the next morning which is Sat, Mar 1st, at 9:45 am because we were told that they opened at 9:30 am. The other younglady comes to my car before I got out and says, she told me to tell you to go ahead inside and she will meet you at your unit. My son is behind me in his car and we both drive to my unit. I get to my unit and then the other lady calls my cell. She says Ma'am you have to come back and sign a form which allows her to cut your lock. I asked why would you tell me to drive in and then turn around and tell me to drive back. After that she comes to the unit to cut the lock and says her drill is not charged so she made us wait. It only took her a few minutes when she came back so thats another reason she could have done it the day before but she made us have to take another trip back. I live in Forney so that was very inconvenient.
I've left a message for Sam who I'm told is the GM. Either this younglady gets over her personal vendetta, or now I will call The BBB or whomever I need to contact because this is utterly ridiculous at this point. I would never recommend anyone to this location while this person is working inside the office. Never. I am a 63 year old woman. I don't have time for this nonsense. This is already the 4th name change of companies since I put my stuff at this location in 2020 but this is the worst treatment that I have received from anyone.
I have been parking my 2 commercial trucks at this location for 2 months. I love the location it’s on the service road which is easy access to the highway north or south. Management is great at this location well kept nice and clean. Gate access is easy in and out. Price is good I got it with 2 months free. But if you need commercial parking are just storage don’t pass them by sign up.
Amy has been nothing but helpful with any questions I’ve had. Very respectful towards customers!
