Culpeper Self Storage

This has been the absolute best experience I've had with any storage unit I've rented. The facilities are clean and well kept; the staff are helpful and always quick to answer questions. The security is adequate and the access hours reasonable. I recently built my own storage shed for my things and Judy was just as helpful and pleasant with helping me end my contract as she was when I signed up years ago. Now that is service! A+++

The staff is so nice! My card wouldn’t work so I had to go in a day after my payment was do but they were understanding and we got it paid. They were also very excited to hear I was signing the lease to my first ever apartment! It felt like I was talking to family.

The best thing about this place is the elevator to put your stuff on to go down if you get a controlled temp unit. The staff are extremely nice. The gate(which you have to enter a code to even get into) is also a great addition as it gives more of a piece of mind, knowing who's coming and going. I also like the deal they were running. The only thing I don't like is you're not able to go to your unit after 9pm, which I didn't realize was a thing.

n here for months, almost a year!! I go into my unit and it had been broken into. Stuff of mine was stolen. I did ask the front about it but she couldn't tell me anything and because my lock was not actually broken or harmed there was nothing that could be done? Mind you I pay for insurance every month so what's the point if your stuff or money isn't going to be replaced!? I no longer trust my stuff being here so my stuff will be being removed. The staff are very nice but after this incident and I know for a FACT no one has a key nor knows what unit is mine even if they were to find my key!! Someone being in my unit isn't sitting right with me!! I've also been told that the owners have a master key that can open all locks on all units?? I'm not happy. I've spent/spend too much money to have my belongings stolen!! I would definitely NOT recommend this place!!
I apologize I'm just seeing the reply to my updated review. I'm not sure why you said I said that I stated nothing was stolen when that was the whole purpose of me coming to the office to begin with and speaking to the front about it because there most DEFINITELY were items missing/stolen and my unit gone through, as I stated to 2 different ladies in the front, I also named what had went missing. So that statement is false and VERY confusing as to why you would even have said that I said that?. Yes AFTER, I spoke with the ladies in the front and was told that no one from the facility had access to my unit, I did say I was going to see if my son may have found my key but that was impossible because one key stays on me and the other is hidden, so that was out of the question, I also spoke to him. But either way if someone had found my key (son included hee only 16) like I stated before they would NEVER be able to find my unit, heck when I first got my unit I forgot which way to go inside the building to find it. Yes I did purchase my lock from there. But like I said before what's the point of the insurance if it's not going to cover something when it comes up stolen and my property gone through? Idk how someone got in unless they are a professional lock picker or a key because there was no damage to my lock?‍♀️ idk but they DEFINITELY got into my unit, went through my belongings and took stuff. I have yet to this day to found what went missing. I had to go back and repurchase it. I would recommend ppl putting a camera in their unit just to be completely safe because something definitely took place, I just wish I could have figured out what exactly. But other than this issue I've had NOTHING but a pleasant experience. The manager, she's an AMAZING woman! She is so sweet and I absolutely adore her she is REALLY probably the reason I stayed. Customer service can mean everything to ppl. I want to thank her because she's awesome❤️

This is the best storage unit place that I've ever rented from. The staff is so friendly and treats you like family. Their facility is clean and I had no issues with pests. They are the best!!
