Although I truly enjoyed the actual movers who helped me both times when I used this company, I am very disappointed in how things ended off with Day or Night Moves and will be certain to never use their services again.
I used this company two separate times when I moved both last year and just recently last week when I moved into my new house. I had the same group of movers both times and had absolutely no problem with them at all. They were always very professional, very friendly, and got the job done quick with no issues.
What I do have a problem with is the charge I received on my credit card after they left. My signed receipt showed an amount due of just over $800 after my initial deposit. The next day I saw a charge on my credit card for over $1000. I received no notice of why this happened. I called Monday morning with no response. Left a voicemail yet no one called me back. I called again the next day to see why this was the case. Apparently on their way back to the warehouse, the movers got stuck in traffic for a few hours because of a bad accident that occurred on the highway. The company decided (without my notice) to 'split' the cost with me and only charge me half of the delay. I never received a phone call, text, or email from them before they charged my card so I was at least aware of what would be coming.
I have never known a company to do something like this after the fact after we already had a signed bill showing what I was responsible for. I didn't know that I am responsible for any traffic your employees may end up in while traveling from job to job. I would steer away from this company just for this reason, as I believe this was handled very, very unprofessionally.
Over charged me.

Time starts for the TRUCK (26') when it leaves the shop! LABOR (3 men) starts when they arrive. Moved 30-35 items. Took Three hours for a 1/2 mile move for the grand total of $750! They charge for tape and plastic wrap. Check these items at beginning to make sure they are new rolls and then ask for all leftover material at the end, you paid for it!
I asked about all fees at booking, was never told about the truck charge. Tipped the guys ($60) and followed up with Angela at the office. She must get these calls often because she got defensive from her first breath, but said she would follow wirh me. She never did.
