Day or Night Moves

We obtained a quote for moving services from Day or Night and it was just slightly higher than the other company which is the only reason we didn’t choose them initially. When the original company got our move date wrong, we were in a bind and called all around Duval county for a company to come move us, same day. The only company with a crew and truck available was Day or Night. I should clarify that available meant that after they finished nearly a full day, they were going to move our 3-bedroom home. The crew that showed up was admittedly tired, but it didn’t show in their attitude. They were careful, precise, and professional. We did all we could to help them load and unload to reduce time. I was happy to pay any amount for this great service. You cannot put a price on high-quality work! I would recommend and use Day or Night Movers for any move. Cortez, Mario & Brian really shined for this company and they should be proud to have them on their team. We also rented 25 plastic bins to move a lot of our home which were very convenient and sturdy. I would recommend using these as they’re the same price as the same amount of cardboard boxes and much better.

Never use this business!

I would consider other options. Movers arrived and immediately began to complain about how much stuff we had. Wasted a lot of time complaining the entire day. It got to the point where my fiancé left to get away as she was so uncomfortable. I started to help to speed up the process. Also just decided to have them leave stuff wherever instead of moving items to the room they belonged in again to speed up the process and get them out of there.
They damaged a lot of items because they didn’t seem to care about how they transported items.
They also took out a power line across the street and didn’t bother to let me know. I had to deal with the aftermath on that.
Also brought an undersized truck since theirs was in the shop. Couldn’t fit a few items and told me they would go back to get them and I wouldn’t be charged. Took about an extra half hour and cost me an additional $75.
Complained and began stating we better be getting lunch or a huge tip which is unprofessional.
Lots of hidden fees that weren’t quoted when I called. Made it sound much less than it would ever be.

Overall a terrible experience. Paid a lot of money to have someone move my stuff. That’s why you pay for this service. Was shamed the entire day. Probably paid for 2 hours of complaining and people sitting around. There are much better options out there as I have had movers before that were efficient and professional.
