It was a very rushed, unexpected move due to building repairs, and my apartment was a cluttered, disorganized, horror of a mess due to my worsening health issues; the housing authority brought in movers in to deal with it, and I was frankly pretty terrified. But... THESE FOLKS TURNED OUT TO BE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC. Patient, kind, friendly, responsive to concerns, and really putting in the human effort to help me through an uncomfortable situation. They waded calmly through my disaster area, treated my stuff with care, and treated me with care as well. And when I ended up having a scary bad health episode during the move itself (severe diabetic blood sugar plunge), they went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and had the things I needed accessible to me in the new space. They were absolutely the best and they have my deepest thanks and unequivocal recommendation.

Now that I am settled in my new place I need to take the time to acknowledge the outstanding moving team that handled my move for me! DeRaps’IT Moving & Storage was a great group to work with from the start! From the moment I first spoke with Brittany to get a quote for moving until the last item was moved into my new place by Dylan & his team these guys were professional, thorough, efficient, thoughtful, communicative & pleasure to work with!

When I first left a message with Brittany to get a quote for my upcoming move she was quick to respond with their cost & availability. I was also looking for a short turn around as I had just about 3 weeks to get packed & moved. I corresponded with her on several questions that I needed clarification on & she was always good about responding or letting me know when she could get back to me if she was working with a client etc. Even with running a family business & taking care of her own family she was sure to respond promptly.

On the day of my move Brittany showed up with the crew just to confirm everything & then Dylan & his team took over. Please understand, I was only moving a mile down the road but they packed & wrapped every item as if it was for a cross country move! They put down runners on my floors & wrapped corners of my stairwells & doors. They took apart my bedframes & tv’s & put them back together when we reached the destination. They removed the bulbs from my maps & wrapped those individually for the move. When we arrived at the new place they required minimal direction, other than where things were to be placed because they were sure to mark everything. They even offered my daughter their professional opinion on where to place items in her room, much to her delight, since she really hadn’t thought much about it in advance. Dylan & his crew hustled, were constantly on the move, worked seamlessly together & were constantly communicating with me throughout the effort.

When all was said & done, they accomplished moving me from a 4 level townhouse into a 3 level townhouse as if it was nothing. Dylan confirmed that all was good before he & his team departed & thanked me for my business. Brittany was absolutely accurate about the amount of time that would be required to accomplish my move. There invoicing was prompt & concise. If I were moving again, which I hope not to have to do for some time again, I would use them again! I absolutely recommend to anyone moving & looking for a team that can make one of the highest stress activities seem like a walk in the park work with DeRaps’IT Moving & Storage…It was the best decision I made!

Brittany, Dylan, and the crew were professional and clearly know what they're doing as not a single item was damaged in transit. The communication was impressive before, during, and after our move. Our three-man crew was great - they all had a great sense of humor and we were able to get settled quickly in our new space thanks to their service.
