I would have given more stars to this company if it was not for the fact that they damaged a piece and claimed it was previously existing but such a ding was not brought to my attention before packing.The piece was purchased brand new and never moved before.

Broke my computer desk moving it into the new house. Said they wouldn't cover it as it had fibre board in it. Told them I could fix it. Eddie told me to call when fixed and they would come and move it upstairs for me. Called and talked to Kathy, when fixed, and she said she would tell Eddie it was ready and call me back when they could come. I've called her 5 times, because she has not called me back, and still get the same run around -- they are so busy and they meant to call me back but dispatcher not there to schedule a time. I also told her they could pick up the 5 moving blankets they left here. The last call she told me the same thing, it's been over 3 weeks now, so I told her to forget it and I would find someone else to do it and I was putting the 6 nice blankets out for trash pick up as I don't have room to keep them. Didn't seem to bother her at all. Bottom line is if everything goes well they aren't too bad but if there is a problem, after you've paid them then forget it. Go with 2 Men and a Truck or College Hunks.

Started out strong but finished horrible. Among damaged items was a dining room set chair (completely crushed) but we were promised by mover in charge full replacement. After numerous calls I finally received a claim form. Send that to DeVries office manager. Received excuse after excuse after excuse. Year later still no reimbursement and I didn’t get the impression she or the company cared. We also received a call month after we moved that movers left a piece of an expensive lamp leaning in th3 fence. We had already thrown the lamp out.

Alexis was our associate and she was absolutely outstanding

I used DeVries a month ago and was so pleased with them that I am using them again this week! Great moving company!!
