Nothing beats peace of mind on moving day, a lot of “moving companies,” are not licensed and insured. The way you can find out if a moving company is licensed and insured is to ask for their ODOT number. To get an ODOT number, a moving company has to have truck insurance, cargo insurance, general liability insurance insuarance and workmen’s compensation. There are a lot of moving companies available that do not have those things. That puts your belongings at risk, their workers at risk and possibly you at risk if they were to get hurt in your home. I learned SO much when we were looking for a moving company. Discount Moving has been around for upwards of 25 years, they’re family owned and operated, and we never have to worry about anything when we book with them. I know they’ll be there on time, their employees are professionals and they take great care of our belongings. It’s so nice not having to worry about that when you’re already having all of the other stresses of moving
