A terrible experience, right down to the interactions with their management. Had a move scheduled for Thursday evening 4-6pm arrival - company did not show up or call me until I called them at 5:30pm to confirm that movers were coming. Only then did they tell me the truck was having issues and that they would have to reschedule or do the move much later that night (minimum 2 hours later quoted over the phone) as I could not do that because I work a job Friday morning, I asked to reschedule for Friday evening with some sort of compensation for the reschedule. I had to call them 5 times over the course of the next day just to speak with a a manger who was incredibly rude and told me the best they could do is $50 off. Left me without reliable movers at the last minute, with no remorse and no kindness. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Similar to what someone else mentioned on here, they left a few things out of my list and said they had absolutely no room left in their huge truck. Mind you I had no furniture apart from a mattress, desk, and ottoman. But they refused to take another ottoman, coffee table, and a few more boxes. I essentially had to convince them into taking my rug which was on the list. I chose them because they were the cheapest option but you’re getting what you’re paying for. They show up too early and left 2 hours early even though I needed more help. They made my move more difficult, I’m still moving stuff hours later.

Had an incredible experience with an extremely difficult move. Truck 175 helped us for about 8 hours. They were kind, fast, and communicated very well. Extremely impressed. Truck 96 helped us on the second part of our move. They were great at well. I would hire them again in an instant. Truck 85 also helped us about a month ago. They too were great. Overall I don't have enough nice things I can say. Highly recommend. Best moving experience I've had.

A Horrendous Experience with Dumbo Moving Company - Avoid at All Costs!

I recently had the misfortune of hiring Dumbo Moving Company, and it was the worst moving experience imaginable. The movers extorted tips, threatening and making us feel extremely uncomfortable. They demanded extra money without any valid reason or explanation, essentially bullying us into compliance.

To make matters worse, they embezzled funds by claiming our truck was over the weight limit, charging an extra $1000 without providing any proper documentation or proof. This is pure racketeering—refusing to unload our property until we paid the random overcharge.

This company should not be in business at all. They are a bunch of crooks and thieves, preying on unsuspecting customers. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Dumbo Moving Company at all costs. Absolutely disgraceful service!
