I have moved quite a few times in my life. If you have been longer distance moves, and most have been in town moves. The in town moves always seem to be the hardest, I think because we don't plan for them quite as well. I expected another one of these tough moves when I hired Economy Movers and Storage. I had done some research and gotten some quotes over the phone with a few companies, and I felt like everyone was just trying to rip me off. I am disabled and unable to lift more than a few pounds; something that has happened since my last move. This is the first move where I had to deal with that. I requested a call from Economy through Angi, and was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from a local area code, with someone sounding like they lived locally. This is my first interaction with Justin, one of the owners of the company.
Justin agreed to meet me later that day to do a walk-through of my home to give me accurate pricing, as well as to give me some tips about what would help everything go as smoothly as possible the day of the move. I was impressed with everything he said, but of course, wanted to see it in writing. I was very happy when he presented me with a contract with a locked in price. There was no room for “accidentally underbidding” and then holding my stuff hostage until I paid more… something that’s happened to me once before. Contract signed, Justin and his crew show up exactly when they say they’ll be there.
When I say these guys worked hard for six solid hours, I mean it. They were friendly, chitchatted with us, and despite it being one of the coldest days this winter thus far, kept great positive attitude the whole time. I always feel like a scumbag, watching other people move my stuff, even if I am paying them, but Justin and his workers never made me feel that way.
From beginning to end, they took special care to wrap and handle all of our belongings like they were their own, always asking for clarification if they were unsure on something. Our 2000 square-foot house had boxes and furniture everywhere. It was a jumbled mess. This, complicated by the need for three stops to get everything where it was going, left me pretty anxious about things not getting where they should be. Would you know, we didn't have one misplaced, incorrectly delivered, or lost item in this entire move? Impressive.
I would not hesitate for a moment to hire these guys for either an in town or a long distance move. I totally trust Justin and the long-term employees he has, and never felt like I needed to keep an eye out for behavior that’s sometimes common with “shady” moving companies. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to hire a moving company or which company to hire, go with Economy. You won’t be disappointed.

This move wasn’t an easy one. I had to postpone it to make repairs in the midst of personal strife. This company showed compassionate understanding and patience with me and my situation. When moving day finally arrived they took great care of my posessions and treated my new home with respect. In my future adventures, I will call upon this company again.
They are very good and very professional and very quick. I recommend them to anybody. They are the best movies in the world.
Very great service hard workers and very polite. 10/10 recommend
They traveled to all the locations for me and even put together some furniture for me. They were so nice and kind!
