Very unprofessional. Haven’t been able to get to my unit because of snow. I’ve called 4 times to see if they’re going to plow and they always just say, “tomorrow”. It’s been over a week since I made the first call. Too cheap to hire a local plow to go over and do it. I’ve lost hundreds of dollars paying for extra rent on my old house and have a car full of stuff with nowhere to put it.

Review:

Just when you think that your possessions and the items you have been saving. Having 3 children and 2 grand babies, I am the keeper of important baby items. Of course something goes wrong.
A random drunk decided to kick my units door in so bad. Bent the track and bent the door in multiple spots. He threatened me. His dogs (pit bull and german shepard)were chasing my puppy(chihuahua). I called and made a police report with Winona Law Enforcement (storage unit is in Winona, Minnesota) and I called Edward's Mini storage company to report what happened. Had to leave a message. NO ONE contacted me. I finally called to find out if there was a different unit at a different spot. Was told the replacement door wasn't ordered yet and that they had NO units left at all. Pretty sure they have different locations. And none.
This woman then tells me I have two options:
1) Move all my things out.
OR
2) Leave my storage unit unlocked and possibly have all my possessions stolen.

It's obviously dangerous there. It has who-knows what going on. There other units by mine that were on fire. Wowzers! I am suprised this hasn't happened sooner.

Don't rent from them!!! Not safe!!

Terrible customer service. After ending my lease and giving written 2 week notice via email with forwarding address for deposit return, a month passed with no deposit return, I called and was told they had an issue with multiple people not receiving theirs, that it was the post offices fault, and to wait a few more weeks, so I waited another month, then called again to be told by sarah that she never got my email with new address, and tried to imply I must not have sent it, yet when i offered to resend it she declined. Told me to check with post office about my mail forwarding, and if they don't have my deposit, I will be getting charged for the cancelation of the first check that was issued. My response was, for something that wasn't my fault? To which she said, well it's not our fault either. I checked with post office and they stated my mail forwarding was working just fine and that if they sent it to my old address I surely would have received it. So I relayed that message to sarah, who told me she would check if it was returned to the office and call me back. Another week passed with no call from sarah, so I called back, spoke to someone else who again was 100% unapologetic for the situation, and said she'd tell sarah about it. Sarah called back to say she never found it and I should check the post office AGAIN, to which I replied I would prefer you just resend the check and charge me the fee if that's really how you guys do business. Sure enough, 3 months after I should have received my deposit, I got a check for literally half of my deosit. They charged me $40 for the check being 'lost in the mail' Beginning to end, offensive interaction, and the office staff made it clear that they could not care any less.
