This is the second time in one year I’ve used Elite to move out, store and move in. Jenny already had a list of my items from my previous move, so she just pulled up my file. Torres and his team arrived early to get started moving my belongings out of my condo. Torres walked through all the rooms and areas to assess larger items to be padded and protected. They started loading the truck at 8am and finished at 3pm. All the furniture were disassembled when possible and padded. They loaded the truck efficiently with all the boxes so the bigger items would fit.

I had a few days before moving into my new home, so all my belongings were numbered and tagged for inventory. After a full day of loading the truck they then unloaded everything into their climate controlled storage until my move in.

Move in day started with Torres’ team reloading the truck then driving to my storage unit to get the remainder of my stuff. Then drove to the house to start moving me in. I moved in from a condo with an elevator to a little brick home with tight corners. Despite the smaller space, the team moved all the beds, dressers, desks and bookcases.

They unpacked everything I asked them to and they would have unpacked more, but I had painters coming in the next day and just asked them to have all the boxes in the middle of the rooms.
