Ellicott City Movers

Please don't fall prey to this company, they have bouncers with them. They scare you with their rude language and will threat you like anything. They are like goons. Please take care of yourself and your family and better to call cops, if they are delivering your stuff. Shame on these anti-social elements.
All good reviews are added by them self.

Date 09/02/2023 - After 4 years of my review above, these goons still have courage to respond, how shameless people they are. Guys don't use their services, they are goons. They broke my TV, 4 lights and still these bad elements of the society are in business. If you are using their services, Keep yourself safe and call cops, whenever they're delivering as goons and bouncers will be there, might be armed, so take care of yourself and your family members.

Rushed us and broke our china

These guys were unprofessional complained the whole time and broke my grandmother's China. Irreplaceable and the guy andre clearly didnt care cause hes the reason it's broken. Hire at your own risk.

P.s. just so your aware they have no office. The address that is given to you is just for a building that they may be paying some rent for. But they themselves do not operate it. They are a company called mega movers in truth and they are based in Florida, Philadelphia, and new york when I spoke with someone today. So a. The are horrible with how the operate and b. THEY ARE NOT LOCAL. What this company does is hire independant contractors to take on these gigs. Again hire at your own risk.

Very pleased . Moved a living room set and bedroom set for me for a very affordable cost. Was much better than using a delivery service and yes it did cost more , but very much worth it

If I could give Ellicott City Movers negative stars I would.
It all started off with getting a quote from Nadia. She quoted me (for a 3 bedroom place) $500-625 + needed packing supplies with 1 hour of travel and 3-4 hours of moving using 3 movers. Booked it for 9am on a Saturday.
I get a call the Thursday before our move asking if we could change our date to Friday or Sunday for a 10% discount. Unfortunately I couldn't.
I get a call Friday confirming my move on Saturday between 2-3pm. Wrong!!! I immediately call Nadia who explained they were down a truck and could not get to us until 2-3 but we would get 3 guys at a small discount. Ok, fine I agreed with little fuss.
I get a call at 11:00am on Saturday from an employee saying he'll be to our house in 20 mins. Fine, but wouldn't you know only 2 guys show up. Not the 3 I was promised. Ridiculous.
To make a long story shorter... It took these 2 guys 6 HOURS to move us, they DAMAGED 2 walls in our rental house, they CHARGED US $150 FOR STAIRS which was never mention
even as a possibility in my quote, and they didn't unpack half of our belongings they packed at our previous place. And they knew we were moving to a townhouse with stairs. So for a move that was quoted to cost $625 these movers charged me $1,100 which is almost double!! And now they only accept cash, which again was never brought to my attention before. I've texted Nadia multiple times about my disappointment in what they put us through. She can't be bothered to help me; she will only relay my message to someone to call me which hasn't happened. I know she's lying. She couldn't care less about us now. Nobody at that company can. They even told us we were lucky because they were early by arriving at 11:30am. Are you serious?!?! The original time promised was 9am you were late!!!
Based on our experience this company doesn't deserve anyone's business. I hope this review saves other people from going through what we experienced.
