The entire experience with EnRoute and Chen Moving Services, Inc. was sub-par. From the start, the moving truck broke down delaying our time critical move across 5 states. Poor communication from Dispatch to the main office. No updates until I threatened to call the police. When the movers finally arrived, they came in a truck that was already filled with someone else's stuff. The one mover had an ego so large. I told him not to put my things on the truck because there wouldn't be enough room. He went against what appeared to be common sense and loaded my stuff leaving alot behind. I had to put the remaining items into storage. Not to mention, he didn't have help so had to call a local guy who brought alcohol to the site. Both of them were drinking on the job. On top of that, they had the nerve to ask me for any furniture that I didn't want along with a tip. Just crazy! I felt unsafe, honestly and had a mind to call the police, but I just wanted to be done. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, I was charged additional fees including a stair fee to lift our washer and dryer up to our 2nd floor. They delivered our items after two weeks, took our money, but didn't move our washer and dryer up the stairs. At this point, I need a refund so that I can get some movers over here to finish this horrible job. Never again will I use EnRoute Relocation or Chen Services, Inc. I don't recommend them at all. In fact, it's a mystery how they are still operating across state lines. Photos show the half-filled truck at the start, the Mike's Hard Lemonade that the mover put in my freezer without even asking, the washer/dryer sitting in my garage as of today, and the furniture that was left behind because it wouldn't fit in the truck.
As many of the others, I too had the worst ever experience with Enroute relocation company. To start with, yes these people are brokers and they use multiple van lines depending on the travel regions. I was given so many promises and comparisons in the first place with different other companies. I trusted Enroute-relocation services and was completely saddened and even depressed with their poor service. My brand new coffee table is cracked and broken. Whoever the van line services came for loading and unloading didn’t deliver my standing fan and white board. I am yet to unpack few more boxes and worried to open and find what more is missing.
For people who are willing to chose en route relocation services think twice and don’t fall for their sales tactics.
Wouldn’t even want to give one star for all the things that has happened so far.

Absolutely Worst Service in the whole of America! BEWARE!
I have tried many relocation mover services but this one really is the WORST OF ALL!
Here’s what you’ll expect-
1. Sweet customer service for first time call until booking is done. But, harsh treatment starts later when you actually move out. Nothing falls according to plan and you are doomed and looted to the extreme!
2. Expect to lose some of your beloved valuables as they assign really pathetic third party services!
3. Expect late delivery of goods, (I guess this is still better than losing your valuables).
4. Worst customer service after booking occurs. No one will bother to listen to the pain you undergo and you will be left on streets.
5. Looting service- be prepared to shell out at least $1000 more than what is quoted!
6.Please beware that this company will delete bad reviews and keep fake good reviews on top of the pile to attract more customers!
BEWARE: They will NOT refund a deposit. Contacted them within the deposit refund period and they did not honor the contract. I would not use their service based on the experience.
