Ernest Moving & Storage

Everything was loaded then delivered/unloaded quickly the guys were friendly and everything went pretty smooth. We had no damaged items and overall a good experience with good communication.

They first hooked me with a promotional price, then when I added 4 boxes on pickup day, price magically doubled. They promised up to 6 months free storage, only to find out only first 30 days where included. Worst of the worst, a grill, a paddle board and my electric bike “magically disappeared” and never made it to delivery. These guys are scammers and should not be in business. Never hire them

I was unhappy with the people who loaded our stuff. There were 3 guys. The main guy who had me signed and 2 guys. The 2 other ones were not rude but they did not care about how they loaded my things. I kept asking them to be careful and place the fragile boxes towards the top. They told me they knew what they were doing and proceeded to put lighter boxes at the bottom where things got squashed. They also left so many huge gaps that made my stuff get pushed forward causing me to have to pay more square footage. That was messed up.

Look, I am not the kind of guy who likes to be on someone about their work but when it comes to my items and paying for it. Then I will get involved. The main guy who had me sign was named Maks so watch out, he was upset I had more than 50 items and raised his voice at me in front of my family when I tried to explain I had called in advance to let them know I had way over 50. Still, that's no way to treat a client. I was unsatisfied. Besides the fact that I had to pay way more than the estimate. I don't want people to go through this so unfortunately. I had multiple items damaged. and 3 items broken due to their poor way of loading them up on their truck. I regret signing with Ernest Moving & Storage. If I could, I'd like to speak with the owner and let it be known how his employees are handling business. It's disappointing. I got to see how my stuff was packed onto the delivery truck by the guys who loaded it up when our stuff was delivered. It was BAD. things were falling apart. and everything looked like it just got thrown in there! Not cool at all.

The people who delivered on the other hand were great. Besides one of them that through up and was not feeling good during unloading, they were at least better than the people who loaded up our stuff. The driver was amazing. He tried his best to build our bed after finding out there was MISSING hardware to get it built. My wife and I had to sleep on our mattress on the floor because the movers did not secure all the hardware components required to put the bed back together. Luckily for them, we were able to get those hardware pieces from IKEA for free, but it took 3 weeks for them to get to us. I wish I could get my money back. or partial. I believe in labor work and things have to get paid for that labor. But when you pay for people to be rude, do not care, and throw your items onto the delivery truck without any care causing them to get lost, damaged, or broken is not fair to pay. I had family also moving to Mississippi and I introduced them to Ernest Moving & Storage but once they found out about our problem, they decided to move with another company. I do hope they get it together. I won't sign up again with Ernest Moving & Storage, and I can't recommend it. I'm sorry. Long message.

I hired Ernest Moving to move my 2 bedroom apartment from Brooklyn, NY to Huston, TX. I booked them 2 weeks in advance, they came on time, very friendly and always smile movers. They packed my furniture quickly and safely. Delivered everything in 10 days like promised.

I needed help moving from Massachusetts to California. This is a very long distance and I was worried about the integrity of my furniture.
