If I could give negative stars I would. From my experience all the reviews on here are bogus. Mark Anthony is the worst representative you'll ever come across in the broker business except if it came down to being completely dishonest. My 2023 truck was damaged on Aug 25 and I immediately reached out to him and sent the pictures and he told me to get an estimate and he would send over the carriers insurance info to get it taken care of. Almost 6 weeks later and I've yet to receive anything but a bunch of lies and I had to call from a restricted number to get those lol because he stopped answering calls or returning emails. I don't think they vet any driver as the website states and when I asked about their company covers what the driver doesn't I haven't heard from him since and no attempt to get this right. Please beware if using ship and if you get a broker named Mark Anthony then run for the hills.
Added: Now let me add to my review because the owner just responded that the carrier handles the insurance claims not the broker but I guess he didn't take the time to read my comment about the broker never supplied the carriers insurance info as he said he would and me after asking on numerous occasions he just stopped responding when I requested it. The insurance info isn't given to the customer when booking. It also validates my statement about the ship website dies not and will not take responsibility for damages done to your vehicle that the carrier doesn't cover as their website states. Consumers please beware that if any issues arise you won't get any type of answers and they will just go ghost.
Yeah, its a hard no for me. When I scheduled the transport, the company was very responsive. Phone. Email. Whichever, they were on it. They were responsive all the way up until their driver was a no-show. Then. No one would answer email or phone. And I was persistently reaching out by both means. But I was stuck with last minute transport scheduling via a different vendor. Eventually, eShip refunded my deposit and the other vendor picked up and delivered on time as the promised. My colleague warned not to use eShip. Wish I would have listened.
I am in the medical field and have shipped several times with eship. Mike Dietz was the broker and his coordination communication and customer service were excellent. I reached out to eship this time and got a response from a Mark Anthony. My experience this time was very different. 1,295 from FL to CO. My car was picked up on 05/30 and was to be delivered on 06/05. All of the previous deliveries from this company have been early or at the very least on time. Being in the medical field I was told that I was needed to work on 06/05. I called Mark Anthony and was told that I had to accept delivery that day. In previous deliveries I was told that if I wasn't able to accept delivery, they had a storage facility that they could take to for a few days and we could coordinate a better time. After our not-so-great conversation about ' you have to accept delivery and 'you knew when it would be'. Mark Anthony then calls me and advises me that the truck carrying my car has broken down in TN and they don't have an ETA for delivery. On 06/05 I get a message from Ruse Auto trans. that the truck is in the shop and will deliver later in the week. (I am not available 24/7 just to accept a car delivery). On 06/07 they send me a text saying it will be delivered Friday morning. I worked overnight Thursday and stayed awake until noon on Friday and no call about my car location. I woke up at 3:15 to a barrage of threating calls and texts regarding my car being taken to impound and I was going to have to pay an extra $100 because the driver unloaded my car at the original location and will have to reload it onto the truck (this in not true they do not unload until they see you). I told the transport company I could get there in 1.5 hours and they said that I had 30 min, or my car would be taken to an undisclosed location for me to find and pay to get back. Mike then said I had disappeared and was not available. This was not true I have to work and sleep sometime. I did not get a call from anyone until after 12 pm. that is not morning. Mike and I discussed a rental car payment from eship to me to pay for the extra rental days. Mike said I had to pay the entire bill upfront and he would reimburse me with my card on file. Needless to say, that never happened and as I called it in our text messages it never will. I reached out yesterday, and he said the refund request was denied (SUPRISE)
I can't say enough wonderful things about eShip and its customer service reps. After being put through the ringer with a few other companies, I had the pleasure in speaking with Joanna at eShip. She explained the entire process, how the board works and the reality of what to expect and then patiently answered all of my questions. Unlike the other transport services, Joanna was always available via text or call. Thank you Joanna and eShip for the seamless transport!!!!!
My husband and I recently hired eShip to move our vehicles from Maui to North Carolina. At first their customer service was great. Anna the broker was responsive with emails, texts and phone calls. Once we actually hired them, all of that slowly seemed to go down hill. We had a specific timeline of when we had to leave Maui which we indicated to Anna. My husband Specifically asked her if there would be any additional charges for barge fees since we would be leaving the island before our cars were. She said no. Come the day we drop our cars to the port. We were charged $76 barge fees for each of one our vehicles. I communicated this to Anna and she told me to send her both of our receipts and she would get it refunded. That NEVER happened. I emailed, texted her several times many with no response, but the times she actually responded she told me the refund has been issued give it 5 days to go into your account. This happened week after week for 3 weeks. Still over a month later and no refund. She gave me the name of the person in charge of the financials named Jessica. I sent her emails with no response either. I called the 1800 number twice. each time the same man answered. Asked me who my broker was (ANNA) and he said he would get back to me later that same day. Again this happened twice and got no call back. Not one person from this company is responding to me anymore.
Now problem number 2. This was supposed to be a port to door service. The driver was fairly responsive throughout the whole time which I was thankful for, but come delivery time we got a call from him saying he wasn't going to be there until 9:30pm and he for some reason couldn't bring them to our home. He asked us to meet him at a nearby Walmart where he could park his truck and deliver our vehicles, so here we are again putting another $15 for a taxi to get us to that Walmart.
I gave this company 2 stars because the timeline was pretty spot on. Nothing was super damaged to our cars. My husbands car has a bent license plate and somebody's car oil leaked on his car, but other than that no physical damage. It is important to know that this company does not ship the cars themselves, it is a brokerage. So if you have cost issues or have any miscellaneous charges come about it will be nearly impossible to get a refund. The guy who answers the main 800 number knows nothing about the brokers so getting a hold of anyone when the remote worker girls don't feel like responding is impossible. I asked for a supervisor from everyone I talked to and not one was ever provided so maybe he doesn't exist. In closing, I am not sure what kind of business they are running here. I am terribly disappointed.
