I was very anxious as I’ve never moved internationally but I was reassured and kept up to date throughout the entire process. My personal belongings were packed very carefully and professionally by the movers and shipped across the Atlantic, arriving within the month, and everything arrived in perfect condition right to my new home and professionally unpacked by the movers on this side. All appropriate paperwork and custom forms were taken care of by EuroUSA. Making the entire process very easy. We moved from Pennsylvania to Germany in August 2023. Ken was very helpful answering all of our questions about the procedure, customs, etc., and the move went very smoothly and right on track time-wise with the estimates we had been given. I always felt like Ken would be available whenever we had a question or concern. We shipped a large pallet of boxes (no furniture), and everything arrived in great shape. EuroUSA also had the best price by far of the six or so quotes we received. We will definitely be using EuroUSA for our next overseas move!
I've heard many bad stories about some moving companies especially when moving aboard where the US side might not have much control once the items are over there. But luckily my case was good. Ken was very patience, thorough and responsive on every step. And both of their crews in the US side and Europe side were efficient and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Moving with Ken was an incredibly frustrating experience. He was very friendly and professional at first but things turned sour once we left the US. Despite an initial quote of $3,650, the final invoice ended up above 6k (!!), even though we had removed several large items. The poor quality of the pre-move survey left us shocked at the final volume, and it took tens of emails to negotiate the price back to a somewhat reasonable bracket. The whole process felt like our furniture was being held hostage, especially since the shipment was still sitting in the U.S. for months while we received repeated assurances it was en route. We had to wait 3 additional months with no furniture in Europe. Additionally, the mover he agreed to work with in Europe damaged several walls and refused to take any accountability.
Ken's lack of transparency made the whole move unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming.
I honestly can't say enough good things about the professionalism and service I received from EuroUSA. I worked with Ken, who to me is really top notch. I moved from the States to Europe and decided to ship my fully restored grand piano. I was apprehensive to say the least given the age of the instrument and the cost of restoration. Ken worked with me and arranged every part of the process: the pickup, the crating, customs forms and transport from door to door. The piano arrived in perfect condition. I would highly recommend EuroUSA and will definitely use them again when I return back to the States.
