I WOULD RUN FROM THIS COMPANY and use a mover that completes the job from beginning to end. They are just a middle man who set you up with a moving company. I just finished taking the mover they contracted my move with from Illinois to Texas to small claims court. Evergreen did not answer my phone calls nor help me in any way like their contract states they will to get this resolved. The mover did not have enough blankets to protect my furniture. I had $2,000 in damage. The mover doubled the price for storage that Evergreen quoted me. I wound up moving my items to a storage facility till my new home was ready to move into. I had to hire a second mover as the first mover said the move to storage completed the contract. I took pictures, kept all my receipts and finally settled. I was able to recoup my costs through my efforts no thanks to Evergreen's empty promises of help. The mover was Condor and your belongings are held hostage. They more than doubled the price quoted by Evergreen. I am happy about my settlement but in the future will use United Van Lines as I know people who have reported good experiences with them
It is hard to believe that this company got any five star reviews. They raised the cost of our move, they were impossible to get a hold of. I had the terrible feeling that we had been scammed. Couldn't get a legitimate mover at the last minute.Got someone who could take some things, but had to leave a lot. It was a terrible experience!
Warning: They will lie to you to secure your business. This a broker company, not a moving company. Save your time and money by directly contacting an ACCREDITED moving company. The representative promised me a delivery date of december 1st and took my money happily. After that I was never able to contact them again and when I did they claimed they had an extra 21 days after the 1st for delivery, that was never mentioned in my initial contact with them. My move did not arrive until January 3rd. Again Evergreen Van Lines is not a moving company but a broker, meaning they will just contract a secondary moving company, something you could do yourself and save plenty of time, money, and hassles with the single worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
God awful. Avoid at all costs.
What a scam, This company is a broker. They did a video walk through of my house to move. Then a follow up call and the second guy said I had more stuff than the video walk through! How is that possible? Went round and round with the lawyer. Of course the money they got was the deposit. this was only for them to then sell it to a unprofessional moving company that rented a truck, forced me to pay half when they picked up, then balance before they unloaded. Items were broke and damaged, didn't even bother to send in claim. For what? to deal with these crooks again?
Had no choice but to get or not get my stuff. Cost be $4000 more than original quote. ALSO the truck came wasn't big enough, had to leave two large couches. cost me another $2000 to replace. DO NOT USE THEM.
David Lee is the attorney they use to try make you feel all better and it will be taken care of, but a day before the move is too late. I don't write reviews for companies. This one is the worst!
