Extra Space Storage

I’m giving this place two stars solely because it’s clean, spacious, and moving in was straightforward. However, the pricing practices here are incredibly deceitful, and I feel cheated. When we moved in July, the price was supposed to be $122 monthly, with $172 due at move-in. We chose the “Preferred Package” (The Basics and a Little Extra) for a 10x15 storage unit, advertised as $109 plus insurance, totaling $122. At no point was it made clear that the price would increase within months.

We paid $122 for only three months before they suddenly hiked it to $222—an extra $100! When I called to question the increase, they smugly pointed to the fine print in the contract, which wasn’t apparent when booking online. Nowhere during the booking process did it indicate this was a promotional price or that it would jump so drastically in just four months.

If transparency matters to you, renters beware: this company makes it seem like you're getting a good deal, only to pull the rug out from under you shortly after. Don't fall for it.

Facility is always well kept and everything seems to be in working order. Customer service is helpful and friendly.

I just rented it and didn’t use it yet but everything looks really good for now including prices, discounts, friendly staff
