Extra Space Storage

ESS bought out the old owners of my storage unit, proceeded to fire everyone and double the rates. Then, 6 months later they evict everyone so they can do renovations. So glad I get to reap the benefits of those doubled rates! They offered a voucher for “moving expenses” but refused to prorate the rent even after I moved out early, so it was basically a wash. (Also, I’ll have to wait about six weeks before that voucher is mailed to me; no immediate relief here.) I’m still out several hundred dollars after taking time off work to move, renting a new unit, and hiring movers. Rent from ESS at your own risk, they won’t hesitate to screw you.

This place has worked with me and helped me during my move. I called today to make a late payment and Joel was kind and made it very easy while answering my questions. When I need to store things again, I'll definitely come back here and recommend to friends as well

These guys are so excellent to work with - incredibly kind, competent, accommodating, and professional. They're going through some issues with construction at the moment which limited access for a while, but they're handling it really well.
