Extra Space Storage

Not much to say about this but it is storage in a quiet area and security cameras are in place.

Opening an account with Extra space storage in Enfield, was easy and pleasant. Kai, made the process easy to understand and fun to get started. She was pleasant and friendly throughout the process. Thank you for making me laugh.

Had a unit here for many years. I want to stress that the woman who worked there for years was always lovely and super helpful. Apparently she’s also been replaced.
Otherwise, the units are very rundown and mice get in easily. I lost a lot of items, including a couch, boxes of books and blankets, towels, stuffed animals, and some photos from mice getting in and using my boxes and the couch as a home. Partially my fault for using cardboard boxes instead of plastic tubs. I stayed with them because of convenience and how cheap it was, plus there was a great deal of paying for 5 months upfront and getting the 6th free.
Unfortunately, it was bought by a new owner, rates went up and the deal was no longer. Not worth it to have my items destroyed so I moved everything to another facility that costs almost the same and is climate (and pest) controlled.
I find it interesting that almost all of the reviews are brand new, by people who don’t live here and/or are reviewing multiple storage units in the area, are super brief and not specific, and mostly use the same wording. It’s terrible that you can’t trust reviews anymore because it’s so easy and cheap to use services that will create reviews for you. And it’s shameful that the new owner is paying for reviews instead of fixing the facility and lowering prices.
