Review:

PRO: Clean, Friendly, Secure, Easy app and kiosk for payments and services. CON: Not a 24 hr facility. Elevator space and carts are small. Setup timing is critical. Indoor cell service is SOS. Indoor WiFi is provided by Extra Space Storage and it is very slow.

Review:

Haven’t moved in yet so remarks are just initial impression. Darnell the sales person could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. Entire facility appears to be well thought out, run and clean. Given how new it is it would have been quite disappointing otherwise.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. After six months of renting a storage unit, I was shocked to receive an automatic payment withdrawal that was double the amount I was originally quoted and had been paying—without any prior notice or communication. When I reached out, I was informed by the manager, Darnell, that because it is a month-to-month lease, the payment can change at any time.

While Darnell was helpful in lowering the payment, it is still over $20 more than my original rate. As a single mom, I carefully budgeted for a set amount, and this unexpected increase has put me in a tough position. I find this practice unfair and poor business ethics, especially since I had no warning and am now stuck with no real recourse.

Additionally, it has been extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone higher up who might be able to address this issue further. I know Darnell’s hands are tied, and I appreciate his efforts, but the lack of transparency and communication from the company is unacceptable.

If you’re considering renting here, be aware that your rate can increase without notice, and getting answers from management beyond the local level is a challenge.
