Extraspace storage in Hauppauge is a joke. As a small business owner i was very disappointed with them. They advertised to me that i can be 24hr as a business account then after 1month one day i went to the unit around 10pm which is cut off time for none business account to fulfilled late orders. i couldn’t get into the facility they put a block on my access code for 10pm cut off time.When i called the next day manager told me that i was not approved to 24hr because it’s causing security issues. But this is not what Mark told me the employee that signed me up for that storage unit. He also lied about code that couldn’t work this is the reason why he put me as a 24hr access person to get Access temporarily, which I was not even aware of. The real reason i move to the unit in Hauppauge was because of 24hrs access. I was also 24hrs access in islandia location prior moving to Hauppauge location, just because they didn’t have climate control i had to moved to Hauppauge location, the manager also stated to me that I Can’t do business inside a storage unit. I clearly stated to the employee that worked at Extraspace Storage in Hauppauge that I have a business and he stated to me that I can be 24 hours if I provide my tax ID business paperwork. I also work and do my side Business this is the reason why 24 hours is the best option for my business When I got out of work around 10 PM so I’ll be able to fulfill some orders. That was the only reason why I chose 24 hours and I was very disappointed with them they Lure mean In there BS . False advertisement they wasted my time i really Not recommend this place because if you are small business, you can’t store anything They are a bunch of crooks and liars they will bump the price on your unit. The only thing they are good at is Asking customers to give them five star “Good customer service Report is earn not giving by asking.”
