Extra Space Storage

In less than a year they raised our storage $150, that’s insane. I’ll be packing up and moving out in the next few weeks. Greedy and it’s absolutely ridiculous. My last storage unit only raised the price twice in 4 years. When you call they basically say frigg off so don’t bother, find another place. As far as raising to provide a clean facility, my decorations were covered in spider webs and bugs (which never happened at my old place) I was already on the way out, that sealed it. So now because you were greedy you can have no money.

Gretchen was just a pleasure to deal with. The customer service was excellent. One time I accidentally left my storage unit unlocked. I received a phone message from Gretchen letting me know.
8/23/24 I just rented ANOTHER storage unit at Life Storage. I came back because of the excellent service at this facility. It was great to see that Gretchen was still there. When I visit a business with high turnover and see a new face every week, I lose respect for that business because they must not be paying enough to make it worth it. I hope Gretchen is well-compensated for what she does. She deserves it!

Gretchen made my experience an enjoyable one. Always pleasant and helpful, she is a real asset to the company. She goes above and beyond. ?

I don't typically leave reviews however, this situation absolutely warrants one to say the least.
For the past year and a half, I've been riding some pretty extreme waves of life. Having situations thrown at me that I never in a million years could have imagined.
Although Gretchen, the Cicero store manager has her own life her own story she took the time to not only listen to mine but went above and beyond her duties to help me in a desperate time of need, ultimately taking one less aaburden off of my back.
I feel extremely blessed and full of gratitude as I'm reminded of why I have been a customer of life storage on/ off for 10 years & why if I ever find myself in need of a storage unit again, I will ABSOLUTELY be a returning customer!
I had to rent a unit again with this company and have had rhe pleasure of working TYLER and he has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with helping me with every one of my 100 phone calls!!!
Although I do not care for the new owners and their GREED,
THEY WERE GIFTED SOME AMAZING EMPLOYEES such as Gretchen and Tyler!
If it weren't for them,
I WOULD NO LONGER BE A CUSTOMER!!!
THANK U SO MUCH GRETCHEN & TYLER!!.you BOTH have no idea how much of a help this has been for me!
