This was an excellent experience. Spaces were explained, cost gone over and I rented a unit . Your representative was cordial, business centered and met each question with answers and suggestions to help me decide I give him a 10 out of 10.

The storage facility is much nicer than the last one I used. Lack of lips to push carts over is appreciated. Bathrooms on each floor is something new and appreciated. The facility seemed clean to perfection and properly climate controlled. Loading and unloading is terrifically easy. Perhaps because of this ease, I saw a lot more people actually using their units than at my last facility.
The drawback of Extra Space is their brutal business model of raising rates, which can go up by 400 plus percent in a few years. Hammering you or forcing a move. Expect to be paying up to $300 a month for a 10x10 unit in time, or $200 for one half the size. Even as new customers score great rates.
The manager Jeff was extremely upfront about this when asked, friendly, and helpful in all regards. The office is large, warm and inviting. A spirit that also radiated from him.
I prepaid far enough, that I should be able to enjoy the fantastic facility a good while before the business model strikes. Let's hope for regulation to stop this, as well as predatory lending. But for now, you can benefit if you stay on top of the game even if most will lose. Extra Space will surely thrive even if the predatory model , used by all the national chains, is outlawed. It's still a sad blemish on an otherwise great experience. Don't be caught unaware.
