Extra Space Storage

My storage place of choice. My second time and appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the manager and other worker bees. I will go nowhere else as long as I live here. Good rates and clean facility.

I have been a customer for years. Currently paying over $80/mo to store my travel trailer under the roof cover. Another RV parked about 20 inched away from my trailer - I couldn't open the door of my trailer. Dave said he called them and left a message, but there was nothing he could do about it. I explained to him I am a senior with disabilities and I have absolutely no one to help me - I just need someone on the outside to guide me. I know how to hook everything up and drive. First Dave said he would help me, then a month later (hoping the RV next to me had moved) I came to move the trailer. Dave refused to help me. He was not nice at all.
I was forced into moving the trailer by myself. I ended up on a big hump right in the middle of the parking lot, it broke one jack and the sewage handle. This area of the lot is NOT MARKED, but you can see huge gouges where other RVs have bottomed out.
I just sat in the parking lot and cried my eyes out. I went to the office to explain what had happened. Dave got defensive and said, 'You moved it WILLINGLY!' I said I did not move it willingly. I was FORCED to move it because I couldn't get inside of it. He was speaking to me very loudly, disrespectully and in a very unkind manner.
Later I spoke with John the manager. I asked for the insurance information for the facility. He said he would have to talk to the company attorney first. He said very little, was not particularly kind, and not at all helpful. He did say he measured the space and the other RV was within it's alotted space. Seriously!?! Let's park two cars on the line and see how that works. IT DOESN'T.
It breaks my heart to see such uncaring people. I could never treat an elderly disabled person the way they treated me. It is very sad. If you don't want to be sad about your storage experience, don't go here. If you want to be treated like you are worthless, give them a call - they are very good at that.

While the guys are Great guys and a clean place very friendly and seem ready to help I like this place and have been there for months then got a letter saying that they are upping my monthly payment after doing research about other storage places in the area and comparing prices they upped my bill by 80$ going to almost 200$ a month for a 8x12 and after getting that letter I did my own research and found that place around the area were the same price as I was paying before the price increase so had to move company sad cause I like this place
