It seems February is their automated fee-raising time, again regardless of 'market conditions' which they always try to blame initially despite it being one of the coldest months of the year with understandably the fewest people moving house or coming to university at OSU. My recommendation, just cancel your rental agreement and go elsewhere, or else try renting a new unit every year and moving your stuff before Feb. Absolutely stupid that you have to do that. Honestly just go elsewhere.

My charge is up from $190/month to $253, TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE DOLLARS, for a unit. That's a few miles away from the absolute lie they sell new customers, I think it was '$112/month' or even as low as $90/month when I first looked a year ago. Probably the hidden fees are what brought it up to $112 for me. No problems with the local management (if they're still there after the change of ownership to Extra Space Storage) but this is absolutely stupid. At some point they better put in utilities and bathrooms because it'll be cheaper to store my stuff in a rented apartment for God's sake. Don't make the same mistake I made.
