11/7/24 Update: I was able to get in touch with Nate, the manager, to try to find some sort of resolution for my unfortunate experience storing at this location. Nate was able to offer me a 2 month rent refund, which was appreciated. While I’m obviously still very disappointed with my storing experience resulting in mold damage to my items, I am pleased with Nate’s response and professionalism when dealing with this situation. He assured me they’ve taken steps to prevent this from happening again in other units. Hopefully no one else will have to deal with mold like I did.

Absolutely terrible experience at this location! I paid more for a temperature controlled unit and stored my entire household for 2.5 months. Upon moving out, I come to find countless items in my unit that are covered in mold. The insurance (that they make you pay for) apparently doesn’t cover mold damage. It’s conveniently one of the “exclusions” of the policy. So I’ve had to throw away a bunch of my stored items and there is no way to receive any kind of reimbursement for Extra Space’s negligence. Stay away from this location if you don’t want your stuff ruined!!!

We were greeted with a smile and professionalism from the time we walk in the door until the final checkout process was completed. I would recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone needing extra space.

Great service. Nate was wonderful to deal with. Make the process very simple and short! was very patient with me and showed me all the units I was interested in. They have very good rates! Would recommend Extra Space Storage!

I want to give Brittany a 10 star rating on my experience with Extra Space Storage Facility in Westlake. Not only is the facility excellent, it's brand new, it's very clean & very spacious. Brittany went out of her way to make sure all of my needs were met. I totally recommend Extra Space Storage in Westlake for ALL of your storage needs!
