Extra Space Storage

*****Attn: To Anyone That Has Property at Extra Space Storage on 1775 Eden Park Dr. In Hamilton, OH, next to Meijer on the West Side*****
My storage unit was broken into sometime between May 21, 2024-October 25, 2024. There is not enough security at the Extra Space storage facility located on Eden Park Dr. in Hamilton, OH. There should be cameras inside the hallways; there is only 1 camera on the entire property per Hamilton Police Department. The doors that lead to the inside units should be locked after hours, and there should be wired doors that send a silent alarm to notify the police when a unit door is opened without the gate code/passcode being punched in.

This facility had wired doors in 2005-2006 when I had an outside unit there. Why would a facility remove previously installed security measures? Seems fishy to me. I will never use Extra Space Storage again once I move out. I will never be compensated anywhere near the losses I have accrued.

The photo of the empty box contained a plastic tote filled with irreplaceable porcelain dolls. The whole entire tote is gone. My unit was completely emptied out into the hallway because everything I owned was ransacked and then just thrown back into the unit. My unit was full, and everything was stacked and organized. But as you can see, I am probably missing 1/3 of my belongings. I am devastated beyond words.
