Extra Space Storage

I am giving it a 3 star because when I signed up the customer service was great! Nice folks and helpful. By the end of the it the customer service was TRASH and there is one guy in there that doesn’t speak nor is he pleasant when he has to. I went in the lobby and tried to go through to get to my unit in a very nasty voice he said, “What are you doing?” I said going to my unit. He goes, “No you’re not, you cannot go this way. “ I told him I was unaware of the rule, because I had done it several times before. I said well since I am already inside can I just proceed through? He said, “ No you cannot, the garage is your friend.” Nasty. I did not appreciate the exchange so I cancelled my unit. Be nicer. All he had to do was change tone and let me know nicely.

I called about a ridiculous increase of price ( double the original price in less than a year) and spoke with the manager Robert. He was very understanding and was able to negotiate a reasonable price on my behalf. He even called me back to update me of the change in price. Nice clean facility and nice staff but I am not a fan of the crazy price increases every 4-6 months.

Robert was excellent. I’ve never had to get a storage unit and he made it such a seamless process and makes it enjoyable!
