The temperature inside the unit is perfect, with all of the units being climate controlled, and I find it to be very clean and bug free!

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a storage unit! Kat, the store manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with and made my experience seamless. I went in by myself after a bad experience at a different storage company and felt comfortable and at ease right away — the facility is spotless and Kat couldn’t have been nicer.

I have been using this storage facility for one year. I moved here from the Brentwood location, as I wanted a climate controlled unit. I pay $300/month for my unit. I use it for work, so I utilize the space + facility often. Sherry, the previous manager, was incredible. She was friendly, upbeat, and always available to solve a problem. Two months into 2024, my storage unit had water damage because a water line broke. I was moved to a new unit, which was fine. I was not told this new unit would cost more money, but indeed, my monthly bill went up. Now, this is a unit paid for by my company, so I am not 'nickle & diming,' I just think it's bad business to increase rates without informing your customer. Especially considering I was moved to a different unit because of water damage caused by the facility. Okay, so that was the first problem. Then, Sherry was replaced by some temp managers while she was having shoulder surgery. During this time, I was told I could no longer drive into the back bay, as the facility is not equipped with the appropriate devices to rid the facility of vehicle exhaust. Mind you, I picked this facility and location of my unit *because* of the ability to pull in to the facility and unload my vehicle. Additionally, I would back my vehcile in and immediately turn off my vehicle & the bay door would stay open for a significant amount of time, which I imagine would remove any amount of exhaust fumes from the brief time my vehicle was on.
Sherry came back from surgery & you would've thought it was a holiday with how excited I was to see her. I asked her about the exhaust+bay situation, and she said it was not true and that I could continue using the loading/unloading bay as I previously was. THEN, this facility changed from Life Storage to Extra Space, and they brought in some other manager, and she has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. First of all, the office door is *always* locked. I don't know if this is a safety thing or a laziness thing. However, it's very effective in making you feel like your customers are unwelcome. Several weeks ago, I went in to purchase boxes & tape, as I do 2-3 times a year. They did not have enough boxes on hand for my needs, and I was told that they couldn't order anymore until the Life Storage ones were gone... well, considering there were only 10 boxes for me to purchase (3 of which were damaged and I returned), I'd say that's as good a time as any to order new ones. That seems like incredibly low inventory to justify not ordering. Seems like an excuse and laziness. Again, today, I try opening the locked office door approximately 45 minutes into their listed office hours. The manager gets up and opens the door for me and I begin asking questions about a UPS pickup I am expecting today and before I can even finish asking for information, she says 'I have the flu so I don't need anyone in the office with me right now.'
