Extra Space Storage

The setup and unit we got (January 2025) were good, a 5x5 for about $60 a month. However literally the next month the price has nearly doubled to $112 a month with no advance warning. Heed the other reviews that say the same thing. We are planning our move out ASAP- there's plenty of other options on the island.

Update:
I received a call notifying me of a global billing issue that allegedly mistakenly charged inflated rents across the organization. I was told this charge will be reversed and my original rate will be honoured.
I was also told I could guarantee the rate for up to a year by prepaying. I will update this review again if/when the situation is sorted.

Update 2:
As of the next day, the situation has been resolved satisfactorily as discussed. I would recommend anyone wishing to rent a space here for the long term to discuss prepayment options upon receiving their unit.
