To Extra Space Storage Corporate:

I am beyond furious with the way you’ve handled changes to this facility. You decided to change the hours without any announcement, which is absolutely unacceptable. The only reason I chose this facility was because of the convenient hours, and now you’ve taken that away without even notifying your paying customers. This lack of consideration shows just how little you value the people who keep your business running.

And let’s talk about the “state-of-the-art” facility you’re so proud of—it’s a complete joke. Why on earth am I forced to get out of my car to enter a code to access the gate, both coming in and going out? Your older properties have drive-up code access and Bluetooth access, but this newer facility doesn’t. How does that even make sense? It’s lazy and thoughtless on your part to cut corners on customer convenience.

To make matters worse, it’s obvious that corporate only cares about profits and not about the customer experience. You’re quick to make changes that negatively affect us, but where’s the investment in improving convenience? The only saving grace is your staff, who are incredibly helpful and do everything they can to make up for your incompetence. Unfortunately, they don’t have the authority to fix this mess.

I’ve had enough. I’m now looking for a new storage facility because it’s clear this company doesn’t value its customers at all. Get your priorities straight, or you’ll continue to lose business
