Extra Space Storage

I had a pretty awful experience with this place. On my move in date they were not ready for me at all. My passcode did not work, my storage unit was not ready and they did not have a lock for me. It was like they did not even know I was coming. I was told that management should give me a call to help me out and they never called me. I then tried calling them a handful of times before I moved in to get more information and not once did they answer my calls or call me back. I spent two hours on my move in day trying to figure things out and it was horrible. The only reason why I’m giving it two stars is because everyone I talked to on the phone trying to figure out what happen was nice.

The price is decent (though they just raised it recently) and the space is good. It is a bit further away from town though.

They seem to be always having gate problems, whether it’s just open all the time or the code doesn’t work or they change to a whole new “temporary” code system and then the gate is still just wide open a lot.

They don’t seem to be very quick to fix those issues but they’re sure quick to lock up your shed if you’re even a day late on payment. And very slow to take the lock off once you do pay it. It’s also impossible to get ahold of anyone, phone number doesn’t work.
