My advice is look at BBB when hiring a company. That was my lesson learned. If you want to see my full review go to BBB. Short review. From the first call to every interaction afterwards more than just a moving company. It is a family business but i felt their support during this move. We orginally were w another company but things went terrible bad. They were able to pick up the pieces and still move me out same day as when i called and work w my time sensitive schedule. Our timing was key to our safety. The men were encouraging which made things even better. Took a very stressful situation and made it more pleasant. And they still have more work to do bc we have to do a process. The men that were here were a pleasure to have in my home.thank you
Terrible experience on 3 occasions now (not my choice to use 3x but the custom furniture company I used chose them). Damaged brand new rug for nursery (see photos) , walked on it with dirty work boots and got a white daybed so dirty I had ti return it after waiting 4 months for delivery
I've been meaning to write a review and am finally getting around to it. I had Fallon Moving and Storage help me with our move from one house in CT to another house in CT on October 31st. The front desk was very helpful, especially because we had to change the date a few times due to the seller's having issues on their end. The move itself could have been better. The estimated time was pretty far off in my opinion. We moved all of the boxes in our garage to expedite things. I realized when they came to our house to give us the quote, they never went in the backyard so I called up and mentioned this and they told me to expect to add 30 minutes but even factoring in that the time frame was longer than expected. I called up and was never given an explanation as to why it went over. We even got to the point when we got to the new house that we told the movers not to put the boxes in the rooms because they were so far past the time to try to save us money at that point and they left them in the garage for us. Because they were so far over in the time, they started to rush when re-assembling the furniture. Two important items to us got damaged in the process. It wasn't the worst experience we could have had but definitely could have been improved.
I used Fallon Moving & Storage to move from one apartment to another. I first want to start off by saying the men/movers were very friendly and nice. The problem was the actual move. I'm not really sure what happened, but my computer desk was damaged. The leg had broken off and there's a pretty large stain and hole on top that occurred during the move. There are also black scratches at the ends of my cream colored coffee table that won't come off. One of my glass lamp shades shattered, but one of the men did offer to reimburse me for that which I appreciated. Unfortunately though I had to buy a brand new desk and will need to figure out how to cover the black scratches on my coffee table.
For the past 7 years I stored my belongings with Fabulous Fallon. Jessi in the office was terrific. The movers were also great. I would use you all again in a heart beat. Thank you Fallon for such a positive experience. Rita
