Dianne in the office is the one that took a list of the items I was moving. The same day I was given a flat rate. The move was to Charlotte. Mike and Brad did an excellent job protecting my grandfather clock. They removed the weights as required and put them back. I definitely recommend them

5 stars to the movers great team! They are amazing. My issue was the business practice, not a big fan of moving companies that don’t do fixed amounts for a move. It makes the customer super anxious while already doing a stressful thing like moving that the bill will continue to go up and up and up. It doesn’t provide the relaxation that professional movers should bring. The movers were amazing but I wouldn’t book again because of the non fixed amount and the “after 3 hours you pay $125/hour”, rather have a set amount.

I had a problem with another company I hired the day before the moving day. I panicked without knowing what to do but I was very lucky to find Family Movers Express!!! Nick made sure that the moving would be completed on time next day and gave me the flat rate of $390( 2 hours maximum , 2 people with a truck to a storage unit 2miles away). You get 10% discount if you pay cash!! On the day of moving, Kevin and Andrew arrived exactly on time. They were very very friendly and courteous. They made sure that everything were protected by the cover the brought. They were very fast but at the same time, they were really fast. They never wasted time. I had such a wonderful experience with them that I would request these two gentlemen when I need to move again in next February and June!! Thank you Nick, Kevin and Andrew! Thanks to you, I had a great moving day!
