Good .. easy move in move out

Hello,
Family moving provided me with an estiamte that was better than the competition so of course I took it. No explination of the contract was given, but at the time of the move they almost charge me double the price, and estimate that was $3110 ended up to be about $6800 in cost. Of couse, I knew an estimate would change but had no idea it would almost be double. We had someone watching them load itmes onto the truck and I was told that they were droping our boxe and couch. Mind you the biggest furniture I have was a sectional couch and two mattress and a bunch of containers and boxes. I was told that I filled out 1500 cubic feet in the truck but when my items where dropped off it was dropped off in a smaller truck and the delivery person have another person's items in the same truck to do another delivery. So if I had so much stuff how did my items fit a smaller truck with another persons items in it as well.
I confirmed with them to come the day before move out that the movers would come between 7-8 and they emailed me after confirmation they would come at 3-4, which I did not see until the day of the move. When ask why didnt they call me they were calling the wrong number and said it wasnt their problem they had the wrong number. But they defenituly text me at the right number when they claim on of they payments didnt go thought, and the lady told me they dont do text message.
PLease do not be blinded by a good estimate like I was. It is very unprofessional to wait to the day of the move to tell a customer that the price of their move is more than double. Other companies do a visit prior to the day of the move to provide a more contrcrete estimate, but they do not do that.
