I’m surprised about the 5 star reviews here. They must be from Family and Friends. Having worked with movers as a professional organizer, and move facilitator for 20 years and I know good movers. These folks are NOT! I hired them a couple of weeks ago. 1. They lie about everything 2. They don’t show up on time. 3. The crew they send may or may not be experienced. Part of my crew was - I tipped them all VERY WELL because I understand they are not paid as they should be. It took an extraordinary amount of time for the whole process….(padding the bill), and costing me far more than it should have. Because they were late and lied to me about why, I missed out on work and therefore the day was twice as expensive. The owner is arrogant and rude. When you call you will be drawn in by the sweet voice of the daughter of the owner. Beware: she will tell you whatever you want to hear, but hold you hostage in the end charging far more than expected. BUYER BEWARE THIS COMPANY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!
What a great team this company is.. Very easy scheduling process. On the day of the move, the crew were on time, helpful, friendly and did everything with a smile. They were so willing to help. They made a stressful event very pleasant. I'm so happy to have found this company. I hope not to do it soon but when I do have to move again, I'll definitely be reaching out. Much appreciation!
When I couldn't pay a different amount they threw my property in the garage and broke along of family stuff that cannot be replaced
I will only use Family Moving Services for all my moves. Attention to detail, care when handling delicate items, quick and efficient and affordable. Highly recommend. Plus I refer them to any and all who are moving.
This moving company damaged a door to the apartment building that I work at, while moving in a resident a few months ago. I first called them by phone, to alert them to the incident. I spoke with a representative who gave me their email address, and asked for pictures, information, etc. I then sent them the email with pictures, and an offer for them to come out and take a look at the security camera footage.. ( I did not have the capability to send them the video footage... so, I offered to meet with them, and show them the video footage in person at the property. ) I was told I would be contacted, and all I was asking is that they pay for the damages and cost to fix the door ( $200 ) as the door had to be taken off it's hinges, re-hung, new screws and sanding down of the damaged door as well as re-painting it. After several attempts to contact them, they 'ghosted' me,, and to this day have never gotten in touch with me to get the situation resolved. I would be cautious about using them for your move.
