Fraudulent sales practices. Federal moving promised guaranteed delivery within a 5 day window. Elvin Kristian, one of the sales-liers committed in writing that the delivery would be completed by the 7/4 holiday. However, to make this commitment, they insisted that they pick up my furnishings a day earlier than I had requested, but I took a day off work and accommodated because of their delivery commitment. That was 2 weeks ago today, which is the last day of their 'guaranteed' delivery window. Now, Mitch Levine, the Sales-lier-in-chief, is telling it may be as long as another week, because 'things happen' and threaten to lock my possesions up 75 miles away from my home if I can't meet them whenever they decide to show up.

I will update this review once the move is actually completed and issues resolved. In the meantime, I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT even consider Federal Moving to help with your move.

So, here's what i can say about my move with Federal Moving ..it was very smooth and professional. My friend made the referral and i am glad she did. As stressful as moving can be, these guys did their best to make it a good experience. First of all, i got a great price, even though it was pretty much a last minute job as i needed to be out of my apartment on march 29 and it was the 22 when i did the booking. Anyways, when time came to move on the 29th the crew showed up even before the scheduled time and were a very polite bunch. I had a lot of stuff and big pieces but i knew it wouldn't be too bad because there were elevators in both buildings. The foreman, i believe his name was Josh, was awesome at what he does and ran his crew well. The guys were professional and looked like they knew what they were doing. They helped me out with some stuff that i wasn't able to get ready and wrapped everything up. The actual move was fairly quick and painless. Nothing was broken and everything was on point. Before i knew it, we finished up the contract, and i was in my new apartment.
Overall it was a wonderful interaction and i would definitely recommend this company for anyone looking to move!

They really saved me!! I had to move across the country last minute with all much stuff. Did a great job packing all my stuff especially since I had fragile equipment. Will definitely hire again!!!
