The best!

This move was awful. The guys showed up in a rented U-haul that was too small for the move. I watched as the one guy stood in front of me and put on his Finishline shirt. You’re showing up to move someone’s items, the least you could do is show up ready to go. When I only saw 2 guys I was concerned. I had sent Shari an exact list. They needed at least 3 or 4 guys. What sealed the deal that this move was not going to go well is I watched them toss out 3 used TV boxes. They were not new as what I was told I was getting. They were tattered and had seen many moves. I was shocked. I’ve moved many times over 20 years and I have never seen a moving company bring used boxes of any kind to a move. Not only is that wrong but it’s unsanitary. The one mover was good and quick, but the other mover was slow and proceeded to take many breaks. I was told by Shari after the fact that his age probably had to do with why the move didn’t go as well as it should have. I don’t think that was the problem. These guys proceeded to take an abnormally long time loading the truck. It was going so slow I actually started moving things out there so they only had to load the things up. The one guy was hardly ever to be found when the other guy needed him. I showed them multiple times what items were being taken and they still proceeded to carry the wrong items down and load into the truck. They spent at least 30 minutes loading and unloading the wrong mattress on the truck. What’s worse is had I not caught them bringing the wrong items onto the truck I wouldn’t have known. That hiccup proceeded to eat up over an hour of the time. I sat an waited for them to drive 20 minutes almost another hour. I’m pretty sure they sat at the apartment for 40 minutes and then proceeded to drive to the storage unit. That was two hours I got billed just for them doing the wrong things. At the storage unit I found them taking their time unloading every single thing. They dropped so many things. I had a beautiful brass table they smashed as one guy dropped it off the truck. I had to go and find them at some points to ask what was happening. Towards the end one guy comes over to me laughing saying “oh man, we forgot your 3 TV’s”. I said I’m sorry? Those were literally the most important items. He said that I should be able to get them myself and load them into the storage unit. I said no. There’s no way I can load 2 55” and 1 65” into my truck alone and get them into my unit. Other guy said we can load them into your truck if that makes it better for you. At no point did they offer to fix their mistake and go get the TV’s. When they were closing my storage unit I stood there and watched them slam the door trying to close it. I yelled for them to stop because they were slamming it on the side of my $6K leather couch. They both went Oh. I opened the storage unit door and there was a huge 8 inch gash in the side. I was crying at this point. We walked out and of course the amount was hundreds of dollars over what it should have been. When they got to the storage unit they did something I have never seen. They removed my TV’s from the used boxes and placed them on the ground. I screamed no. I said no one removes TV’s from the boxes and puts them in a storage unit on the concrete ground. I said no. You better not touch that 65” TV. I said no one even asked me about buying TV boxes. The reason they don’t ask you about the boxes is because they use them for move after move. If these guys move your clothes they do take the boxes back after they unpack you and then they use those boxes with another person. That is so unsanitary and gross. This company damaged so many of my things. It’s right before the holidays and I am a single mother with Terminal stage IV Breast Cancer. I can’t replace all of this stuff. When the co owner got back to me about the issues I raised she was nasty in her e mail. She offered to take $200 off a future move. Do not use these people. They are a joke and have many many bad reviews across the board. I wish I had looked deeper before I booked with them.

Anthony and Jose have my highest ratings. They were so fast and efficient and my things were so safe. They were also nice and listened to me. The price point was amazing and everyone on the admin staff were awesome! I got texts and emails about my move and communication. All I could ever need. Thank youuuu!!!
