First-Rate Moving & Storage

Did not follow instructions on the quoted price, they damaged and refused to pay for items that were damaged, they took stuff that was supposed to be put in the trash trailer with my new belongings for personal use and soiled all my furniture, they were supposed to hang cloths in 4 hanging boxes and just stuffed them in 2. Jay is a criminal and then blames the customer.

I would highly recommend First-Rate to anyone for moving. When reaching out for quotes First-Rate was the first to respond and ended up being the best quote I received. Day of the move, the movers arrived on time and were very professional and did a great job in the time frame that was planned. They were very careful with our furniture and were very respectful all around. If ever needed again I will be calling First-Rate.

The team did a very good job of moving our home furnishings and doing so in an effective manner, not having to take doors or windows off despite large furniture. They were able to make the day less stressful for us! Thanks!

Jay and his crew were GREAT! I shopped around and dealt with many movers. Jay was the easy choice. We were on a tight budget, and Jay came to the house twice to do a thorough walk-through to help us decide what was worth taking and what should be left or sold. They moved us 2,300 miles, and we didn't have any issues. They showed up when they said they would and did an excellent job packing and unpacking everything.
