First Southern Vanlines

This review is long overdue as my move happened around Thanksgiving 2024. I was scammed a few years ago when I moved from LA to FL as we had no idea that we hired a broker. I made sure this time we went with a company that was an actual moving company.

X-Vanlines has a great group of people that not only work together but all have a part in your move. From my first call with Justin and Tom on getting a quote and my furniture and box count to support with Carlos and with coordination and the move with Giovana and Isaac. Great group of people from start to finish. My move was from Hollywood, FL to the Los Angeles area. Things went smoothly with Vincent and his team when they picked up our furniture in FL. And they even helped drop off a couch for us on the otherside of FL, which really was awesome and I'm thoroughly grateful for that.

When our things arrived my husband was on the receiving end working with Mike the mover. Unfortunately, the semi didn't fit through the entry to our apartment complex and they had to rent a uhaul and transfer our stuff and comeback and move everything in. Our night stands didn't survive the move and a few items including vacuume and a chair were MIA. But, thankfully Giovana was able to help us out despite Thanksgiving being the next day.

If you are looking to move near or far, I highly recommend giving X-Vanlines a call.

I would give this company zero stars if possible!!! As if moving is not stressful enough as is, imagine moving to another state on the other side of the country and initially being excited to find a seemingly good company priced “reasonably” only to discover, THE DAY OF YOUR MOVE, that they are almost TRIPLING the cost of moving—and tell you this AFTER THEY HAVE EVERYTHING PACKED!!! Talk about stressful!!! So you go from being excited to completely devastated because in order to get your belongings and have a successful move you now have to pay almost triple the initial quote or have the option to have them unpack your belongings, and have you be homeless while you try to find other moving arrangements last minute. I will NEVER recommend this company and would encourage others to stay far away from them!!! They need to make this right!!!

Never go with this company. Whatever quote you get offered is not what they will charge you, they will double to triple the price day of!

Avoid at all cost!!! If I could give them zero stars I would. Absolute scam artists, will give you a quote and then triple the price the day before via email. Completely unethical and should be ashamed of themselves. I hope the BBB gets involved and shuts them down.

This company is a scam. I agree with the other comments - Do not trust these movers & managers!
They quoted $1800 then after they had everything packed told us it was now $5000!!!! They said they can hold our items ransom or unpack them, leaving no option but to pay or have to LAST SECOND make other arrangements!!
